DAY 1 : Munnar Arrival at Cochin. Then to Munnar. This beautiful hill station was once the summer capital of the British Government in India. The never ending vast expanse of tea plantations and round the year moderate climate makes it a little haven for visitors. On the way visit the very famous Cheeyappara and Valara waterfalls. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Munnar.

DAY 2 : Munnar After breakfast to Echo point and Mattupetty Dam. Speed boating facilities are available here. The dam is flanked by forests and vast expanse of grass land on one side and the Kundala tea plantation on the other. Afternoon visit Rajamala- house of the highly endangered mountain goats – the Nilgiri Thars (Rajamala is closed from Feb 1st to Mar 31st, 2021). Overnight stay at Munnar.

DAY 3 : Thekkady Morning proceed to Thekkady. By noon at Thekkady. Then proceed to Periyar lake around which the sanctuary is built, for boating (cost extra). This is the only sanctuary in India where you can have the unique experience of viewing the wild life at close quarters from the safety of a boat. You can also enjoy a plantation tour covering tea,coffee, cardamom, pepper, cinnamon etc. Stay in Thekkady.

DAY 4 : Alleppey Morning after breakfast drive to Alleppey. By noon check in at the houseboat. Do a mind blowing cruise through the the legendary backwaters of Kerala. On the way you will witness a full range of lifes and activities and some mind boggling sceneries. Overnight at Houseboat. Description: Houseboats are huge, slow moving exotic boats used for leisure trips. They are the remodeled version of kettuvallams of olden times which were used to carry tons of rice and spices. The present day house boat is a private boat with fully furnished spacious bath attached bed rooms, hygiene kitchen, dining area and private front deck to capture the beauty of the back waters. The houseboat check in time is 12 noon and the cruise and stay will be till next day 9 am. During the cruise you will witness a full range of lives and activities and some mind boggling seeneries.The menu in the houseboat is fixed with different fixed menu options for Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians.

DAY 5 : Cochin airport drop. Morning after breakfast check out from the houseboat and proceed to Cochin local sightseeing. Then drop to Cochin International Airport for return journey.

Note for SIC Tours:
 Prices are Subject to change without prior notice due to currency fluctuations.

 There are a few non-operational dates for SIC tours.
 SIC Airport transfers and SIC Tours are available only from selected points.
 Children up to 5 years old may join free of charge on SIC Tours, but will not be provided with bus seats. But will be charged for other services.

 Mandatory Accommodation Taxes are collected by the property directly from the clients as below:
o JPY 500/- to JPY 1000/- per person per day for Five star hotels
o JPY 200/- per person per day for Four star hotels
o JPY 100/- per person per day for Three star hotels or below
 The check-in time for hotels in Japan is 15:00 hours & check-out until 10:00 hours
 Hotel rooms are small in Japan. Below is the reference for hotel rooms in different category of hotels:
o 3-Star: Standard Double / Twin room: 10~14 Sq mtrs
o 4-Star: Standard Double / Twin room: 15~20 sq mtrs
o 5-Star: Standard Double / Twin room: 20~30 sq mtrs
 The Itinerary can be rescheduled by Scenic Japan Tours for smooth execution.

Day 01

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Arrival. Transfer to the hotel.

Reception. Transfer to hotel and free time. You will receive information about the start of the circuit during the afternoon, or you can check the informative panels in the hotel reception area.


IMPORTANT – IF YOU REQUESTED ADDITIONAL NIGHTS on arrival at the hotel you will have your booking made but the guide of your trip will normally not arrive until the start of the included activities. YOUR TIME BEFORE THIS MOMENT IS THEREFORE FREE. At your hotel they can help you with all the information you need.


NB: The schedules you will find in this itinerary are approximate. The guide, depending on the situation and in order to improve the development of the circuit, may adjust the schedules.

Day 02

Zurich- Rapperswill- Zurich.-

Total distance covered by train: 42 km

Note: Our stage today is different; we travel across Lake Zurich by boat and return by train. The transfers from the hotel to the centre may also be done on public transport (depending on the total number of participants). The indicated timetables of the boat we use may change (the itinerary may be adapted accordingly).


09.00 hrs.- We will leave the hotel on this peaceful day. With our guide, we will take a walk around the most populated city of Switzerland, which is also the country’s financial and cultural capital. The city of banks as been twice declared the city with the best quality of life in the world.
10.30 hrs.- We start our almost two-hour cruise on Lake Zurich. The boat makes brief stops to allow us to admire the villages along the way.


12.30 hrs.- RAPPERSWILL, a small, picturesque village overlooked by its mediaeval castle. Time for a stroll and lunch.
15.00 hrs.- Rapperswill, We return to Zürich by train, and will see the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railways. We will reach Zürich in a little under 35 minutes.- Rest of the afternoon free.


Note: Depending on the number of travellers, on this stage, the transfers to the centre and from the station may be made on public transport.

Day 03

Zurich – Grindelwald – Lucerne – Zurich.-

Total distance: 280 km
TODAY´S HIGHLIGHTS: Admire the fantastic landscapes. Cable car included to Grildelwald First. Lunch included
Note: Wear warm clothing and comfortable shoes to walk, and bring your camera.
Note: Due to weather conditions (strong wind) or maintenance reasons, the cable car may not operate at certain times. If this happens, we will provide an alternative transportation to another similar place.


07.30 hrs- Zurich- departure to a spectacular stage with beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes.
10.00 hrs.- Grindelwald. Time to have a coffee in this mountain resort in the Bernese Alps before taking the cable car to Grindelwald First (ticket included), the largest ski center in the region. We will walk along the path (30 minutes) in which we will have the opportunity to walk on the suspended bridge over breathtaking alpine landscapes, enjoying the glaciers that surround us; Lunch included for all passengers (vegetarian option available).


13.45 hrs- Grindelwald departure. We continue to Lucerne.
15.30 hrs- Lucerne- arrival in time to explore one of the most interesting Swiss cities and see the KapellBrück, covered bridge over the river Reuss, the Town Hall and Square with its Clock Tower and its pedestrian streets and elegant shops. Time for a stroll to enjoy the city.


17.30 h. Return to Zurich.
18.30 h. -Zurich – arrival and time for a walk in the city before boing to the hotel.


Note: The guide will offer you the possibility of a full day optional visit, leaving in the morning and, after some free time to discover Lucerne, we take a rotating cable car to reach the top of Mount Titlis. At the alpine summit, at over 3000m above sea level, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.

Day 04

Zurich- Bern- Paris.-

Total distance: 720 km
Scenery: Lakes and mountains in Switzerland. Note: We enter France, remember to have your passport ready.


07.30 h. – Zurich – Departure.
09:00 h. – Bern – Arrival-. Free time in the Swiss capital which has an attractive historical centre with the appearance of a “large village”. We will visit the Federal Council Square, the Cathedral and the Clock Tower, and see the city’s statues and fountains.


12.00 h. – Bern – Departure-. View of Neuchatel Lake. We cross the Free Country amidst beautiful scenery. After crossing the French border we will stop for lunch in a service area.
21.00 h. -Paris – Arrival.

Day 05

Paris.-

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer to Versailles Palace. Funicular ride included to Montmartre district. City tour in Paris.

Early in the morning, we will leave for Versailles, the immense palace of the kings of France (entrance not included). After that, we will return to Paris at lunch time where we provide a transfer to the Montmartre dis­trict. We will ascend by funicular to the hill and admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top. This neighbourhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cab­arets… Sit down for lunch and enjoy a magical atmosphere. Then, a scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and the breathtaking monuments of Paris will take place. Return to hotel. At the end of this busy day, the guide will offer the optional visit to a typical Cabaret or a variety show such as the Moulin Rouge or the Paradis Latin.

Day 06

Paris.-

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Eiffel Tower and boat cruise in the City of Lights.

We go to the centre of Paris, starting by the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then, we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.

Day 07

After breakfast, end of our services.

Note: Remember that check-out time is usually at 10.00 hrs. In most cases, you can leave your luggage at the hotel reception at check-out time so you can enjoy the city and pick it up at the time you require that same day. If you need more time to use your room, please consider booking an additional night at the end of your tour.
